1- I LOVE TO MAKE JEWELRY!!!!!!! Earrings are my specialty!!!!!

2-RED is my favorite color even though I don't have a "Red Room" in the house.

3-I love running!!!!!! 2-Half Marathons and 1-Full Marathon and countless 5K's!!!! STRESS RELIEF!!!!!

. If I can talk someone into it, I may be in doing the Virginia Beach Rock-N-Roll Half Marathon in September!!!!!! Any Takers?????

NOT ME MONDAY!!!!!!

This is kind of fun this week. It was a VERY stressful week at work and fun throughout the weekend because my parents were in town from Georgia!!!!!
So, here we go..........

I did not panic when my 20 year old called me at 7am on Saturday morning to tell me he was up and out before his Mom got out of the bed. He was going to go shoot a car show for a shop in South Carolina.

I did not watch my husband purchase ANOTHER 48 matchbox cars for our 2 year old.

I did not go to Wal-Mart to purchase 2 more "The King" cars from the movie "Cars" because we have misplaced one of the 2 that we have and we had a major melt down over not knowing where it was the other day.

I did not threaten to cook vegtables and tell my husband that it was something else to get him to eat them.

I did not go eat enough pizza on Saturday night to feed a small family of 4 by myself.

Yes, it was a good week with stress and humor all mixed in.

Flashback Friday!!!!!!

Thoughtful Thursday

Thoughtful Thursday.......

I was on my Facebook page this morning and my dearest friends who are missionaries in Ukraine put up a posting.
"1.6BILLION have never heard the name of Jesus-How many will I pass by today?"

Have you ever thought about that? Have you ever considered how many people that really is? Have you ever considered that amount of people being eternally separated from Him for eternity? I'm overwhelmed at the thought.

I had the privilege of attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in India back in 2001. It was a seen like I have never seen before. It was something that will be etched in my mind for the rest of my life. We were with a group and had the opportunity to witness such an event. This was a big year for the festival. This Maha Kumbh Mela only happens once every 144 years. I was overwhelmed and in awe at the fact the Lord allowed me to be there.
As we made our way through the MASSIVE drove of people, the animals, the small children running around we got to a bridge. As we stood on that bridge all you could see were people and more people. It looked like a gray ocean of movement. It was not even real appearing. Words just can not describe that over whelming feeling. As we made our way down to the Ganga River we managed to find an opening on the bank. We were told that under no circumstances were we to "share". We watched as people would dip plastic containers into the water that was muddy, dirty, just filthy, put a lid on it and take it home with them to allow the sick and dying to drink. This was Holy Water to them. We watched people of every age go down and bathe in this water. Chanting and counting the times the went down and even under the water. As I squatted watching what was taking place before me, I can still see it in my mind, the lady with her baby. This precious little one in the water with her mother. She was bathing this child in the water. I could do nothing but let the tears fall. It was so overwhelming. As Jim has said soooo many times. That was the biggest blessing to be able to have witnessed such an event but at the same time so difficult. We stood on the banks of that river with 60 MILLION people and knowing in our heart we had The Answer!!!! The ONLY Answer!!!! AND WE SAID NOTHING!!!!! The princes of darkness was having his day BUT THE LORD IS GOING TO HAVE HIS!!!!!! I have seen 60 million people that I believe in my heart are dying and going to spend eternity in hell away from the Lord. You may have never seen such but you have seen that neighbor, that co-worker or even that family member. It's time for us to get up and get out!!!!! Stop sitting on our laurels and do something.!!!!!!!!
Think on these things today. What kind of witness are you being for Christ? Are sitting on the banks and say nothing? I pray that I am NOT!!!!!!!

Thankful Tuesdays

Well, it is Tuesday once again and here we are ready for Thankful Tuesdays. Has that song been on your mind....."Count your blessings....."?
My list can be so long. I will keep it within reason I promise!!!!

So....Here we go.....

Thankful Tuesdays

1-I am Thankful for my most supportive husband. No matter what crazy idea I get in my head about trying to start my own business, he always supports me.

2-I am Thankful for my children. I have 3 children. The youngest is 2 1/2 and he keeps me feeling young. My oldest is 20 and he reminds me that he is an adult but he still allows me to be his "Mama". My middle one is 17 /12 and she has a mind of her own and wants to make her own decisions.

3-I am Thankful that I work for Christian Physicians. I work in one of the ONLY Ob/Gyn offices in our area that DOES NOT DO ABORTIONS!!!!!

4-I am Thankful that I have awesome Godly parents. They just celebrated over 40 years of marriage. We don't hear of that very often, do we?

5- I am Thankful that we have food in our refrigerator and food in the pantry.

6-I am Thankful that we have a roof over our head and a bed to sleep in.

7-I am Thankful that we are able to attend a Bible believing, Bible teaching, Unashamed of the Gospel church.

8-I am Thankful for the Christian Radio that I get to listen to on the way to work every morning.

9-I am Thankful for the Mom's and families that have allowed me to be apart of their family during the delivery of a new addition.

10-I am Thankful for friends and family that support and love me no matter what!!!

Not Me Monday!!!

Don't you just LOVE the "New Look"?????? To cute!!!!!!!

Ok, so here we go......

I did not go out to eat dinner the other night in a summer dress that I chose to use a swimsuit coverup this year.

I did not let my 2 year old have an ice cream cone right before bed for 2 nights in a row.

I did not start to correct my 2 year old by calling him his older son's name in the middle of a restaurant.

I did not eat 2 orders of "hash rounds" from Chick-fil-A because the little one decided that he didn't like his. We can't be wasteful!!!!!

I did not wake up late on Friday morning and think that my husband had already left for work and didn't realize he was STILL asleep on the couch!!!!!! OOPS!!!!!!

I did not get ready and go to teach a prenatal fitness class and no one showed up!!!!

I did not order a spicy crispy chicken sandwich from Wendy's with a large fry on July 4th because it was "FREE DAY" on my Fitness Challenge.

I did not eat a Hotdog-less Hotdog on Thursday because I don't eat red meat.

It was a fun week and a short work week!!!!!!! Thank goodness for holiday's when we get to take a break!!!!

Thankful and Thoughtful Thursday

I missed doing Thankful Tuesday this week because I was at the hospital helping a Mom and Dad bring a new baby in to this world. It was such a blessing!!!!! So, since I missed the Thankful Tuesday I thought I could do both on the same day.
Here we go...... Some for Thankful and some for Thoughtful. I let you decide on what is what. Some that I am Thankful for and some that causes me to really think.

Thankful and Thoughtful Thursday...................
1-For God's timing in situations, even when I don't understand.
2-For the trials and circumstances that we are faced with every day.
3-For friends that we pray for to find what they are looking for and wanting with everything in their being.
4-For new pregnancies.
5-For new babies.
6-For New Mom's and Dad's.
7-For those awaiting 2 lines on the pregnancy test.
8-For those who may have lost a child.
9-For a job.
10-For a roof over your head and food on the table and gas in the car.
11-For health.
12-For a unexpected diagnosis.
13-For the health of our children.

I've started the list. Now it is your turn to see what you can come up with. Take some time and be thankful. Take some time and thoughtful for those who maybe dealing with circumstances that they cannot control.
