Super Supper Saturday and Sunday
I know we keep doing Mexican food and I promise, for all of the chocolate lovers out there, next week is for you!!!!!!!
This is a great dip that you can serve at a Bible Study, Movie Preview, Youth Group, Nascar Race or even a Football Game.
SUPER EASY!!!!!!!!
Mexican Chunky Salsa
1 Can of black beans, drained and rinsed well
1 can of whole kernel corn, drained and rinsed
1 jar of you all time favorite salsa (can be mild, medium or hot)
1 small jar of diced green chile's (optional)
***If you are making this for a large crowd, you can double or even triple***
Open and prepare the beans and corn. Pour all 3 (or 4) ingredients in a bowl and combine very well. Place in refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Over night is best.
Serve with a big bag of tortilla chips (Scoops are my favorite) and ENJOY!!!!!!!!
****Another idea
Great on a Mexican salad
Great heated and rolled in a tortilla with cheese and heated.

Fabulous Friday......
Praise the Lord it is finally Friday!!!!!! It has been an awesome week but at the same time a very busy week. I am ready for the weekend but the weekend seems to be holding the same busy-ness. Sometimes it just feels like you never get through. We will be going to the fair again tonight. Hopefully this time I might get to eat......not that I NEED to but I WANT to. There is just something about fried food on a stick. Not to mention the fat and calories on that skinny little wooden stick!!!! I took some great pictures last weekend so I will get more tonight and I'll post them on a slide show, maybe on Saturday. Of course, most all of them will be of the Little Man!!!!!
Doula Side of Life- Things are good. I praying for more clients. Last weekend we had The Women's Only 5K here in Greensboro. It is sponsored by The Women's Hospital of Greensboro. All the money raised is put into a Mammography Scholarship fund for women that can not afford to have a mammogram. It is always and exciting event but this time was VERY different. I was actually there as a sponsor and shared a table with some friends to give out my information on Mothering The Mother. It was so exciting to watch the race from the side lines and actually see all of the Breast Cancer Survivors walking around. I showed up with 3 very full boxes of information, brochures, business cards and the such. I went home with one basket that had hardly anything left in it. It was just great!!!!!! I was soooooo very excited. I am hoping to go and visit my little one from 2 weeks ago. I understand they are doing fine but just exhausted. Of course, I will have pictures.
This Sunday night I will get to see some very close, near and dear friends that I have not seen in over a year. They are missionaries in the Ukraine. They are home for their son's wedding and then they will be speaking at our church on Sunday night. It will be so awesome to see them and then at the same time, so hard to watch them leave again. Times when I am in need of M.O.M (My Other Mother), I am so thankful that we have things like blogs, Facebook, and e-mail. We can stay in contact and be aware of what is going on and how we can be praying for them.. I will treasure the time Sunday night no matter how short or brief it maybe. They will get to see Kaleb for the first time in over a year and oh!!!! how he has changed!!!!! So very grown up!!!!!!
There is much work to be done and hopefully some rest in the midst of all of the busy things that we are so involved in.

Thoughtful Thursday
Well, this week has been the 12th year of the "On Track Conference" at our church (http://www.cornerstonesbc.org/) It has absolutely been an incredible week. I have been challenged, changed and refocused all in one week. I thought that the best way to share is to make a "journal" entry. That is usually the best way I know how to put into words, at least on paper, what has happened or is in the process of happening.......
It's time again for On-Track at church.
What will happen this year? Excitement, restarting, recommitment?
We have covered this week in prayer. Will it be different? Will we remember it next week?
Oh I how I pray that we do. How I pray that I do.
I have been challenged and changed this week.
I have been motivated and recommitted.
The Lord is for sure up to something.
My mindset is different. My focus is different.
I'm not the same person that I was on Saturday.
I have been filled up and now it's time for it to overflow into actions.
It is amazing to me that His timing is perfect. It was time for Pam to wake up.
Time for her to smell the coffee and realize that He is working and I need to get my head off my circumstances and let Him handle them.
Time for me to practice the Fruit of the Spirit and watch what happens. Not only with me but those in my family, my co-workers, the strangers at the store.
Time for me to be filled with Him and realize when I am not under His influence because I have chosen to do what I wanted to do.
Time for me to be motivated. Motivated by Him.
Considering what He did for me. Let's think on that a minute.
He is GOD!!!! He knew who and what I was. A sinner.
He knew everything....I MEAN EVERYTHING!!!!!!
Yet, He still sent His Son. A perfect sacrifice.
Sinless, perfect, unconditionally loving all of us.
To pay the debt that I never could. He loved me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If that does not motivate me then I have a problem.
If that does not move me to tears and yet make me want to shout.....
Shame on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Recently I posted The Revelation Song from Kari Jobe.
To see her worship her Savior. I could not help but let the tears flow, smile and just want to shout.
Oh I pray that we would WORSHIP that way. We need to obey Him. If He moves you to raise your hand, say Amen, sway in your seat!!!!! DO IT!!!!! It doesn't matter what others think.
Oh, He is up to something. I'm excited and ready!!!!!
What is He up to in your life?????
PLEASE share in the comment section!!!!!!!!

Not Me Monday!!!!!
So good to back in on the Not Me Monday!!!!! I am feeling like a new person this morning. I'll explain later about that but let's get busy.
I DID NOT show up 10 minutes late for an event on Saturday Morning because my alarm clock on my phone was on vibrate.
I DID NOT go to the fair on Saturday and once again, pick up a yelling "HELP ME MAMA" as we were strapped in to the Wiggle Worm ride.....by the way, he did have fun once we got on. I have pictures to prove it.
I (we) DID NOT hand the above mentioned 2 year old a full chocolate ice cream cone and let him enjoy it. NO NAPKINS USED until he was done.
I DID NOT actually sit down and play the water game that you have to aim the water through the hole.
I DID NOT beat my hubby and other people winning. WOOOHOOO!!!!!!....I'm not boasting....LOL
I DID NOT actually win my 2 year old a very cute tan colored puppy. SOOOO SWEET!!!!!
I DID NOT ask my husband where the above mentioned puppy was when the 2 year old wanted it.
I DID NOT get upset when he proceeded to explain that when he was loading the car, he laid the above mentioned stuffed puppy on top of the car and LEFT IT THERE!!!!! We are 10 minutes down the road now........
I DID NOT proceed to give him a hard time about it the rest of the afternoon.....it was really ok.....we are going back to the fair on Friday.....he can win US another one.....(LOVE YOU HONEY!!!)
Have an awesome Monday...... Oh, by the way, I really DID not get to eat anything at the fair....that will be on Friday. Pictures will follow I promise!!!!!!!

Hot Bean Dip!!!!!
This was a combination of 3 different ideas. So, here we go.
Pam's Hot Bean Dip
1 can refried beans (fat free is my favorite)
1 small can of chopped chilies
1 small jar of roasted red peppers
1 pkg of taco seasoning
1 8oz pkg of Fat Free Cream Cheese-softned
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 can Black Beans-rinsed and drained
**Jalepeno's if you like-to taste***
Place refried beans, chilies, peppers, taco seasoning, cream cheese and salt and pepper to taste in a food processor. Pulse until everything is well incorporated. Add the black beans in. Pulse until just mixed in but not a puree. I like the texture. Place in a small casserole dish, bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Top with shredded cheese, black olives and scallions. Serve with chips, wheat thins or your favorite. ENJOY!!!!!!
**Another options
Add shredded chicken
Add Taco Seasoned Meat
Roll up in a tortillia and serve!!!!!!!!

Thoughtful Thursday
Well, it is Thursday Again. Funny that last Friday, I had so many people say something about what I wrote. I am a huge journaling person. There are so many times that there is so much going through my head and I can't put it into words-verbally, but give me a pen and paper and HANG ON!!!! Therefore I thought we would do it again today and see what happens and what flows.......
Ready.....
Set..............
Hang On..........................
I am writing and listening to the song that I posted this past Tuesday.
If you haven't heard it or listened to it.
Stop
Go and Listen and then join me again....
.......
Ok, now that you have had at least 4 minutes of Worship
Today-Seeking Him
Sitting at His feet.
Can I even raise my head? Can I look into THOSE eyes?
Can I even breathe?
My heart is beating out of my chest to the point it feels like it's going to explode.
My eyes are burning.
Burning with the salty tears that they are filling with.
I can't utter a word.
I'm breathless.
And then..............
He reaches down. Lays His nail pierced hands on my head.
The sobs just take over.
There are NO words to say.
"Oh Child" He says so softly.
"I love you so much"
Tears are soaking His nail pierced feet and the hem of His garment.
"I know your heart. I know where you are and where you've been"
"I know where you are going and what hurts you have experienced"
"I have been there with you every step"
My heart is pounding and Those Hands.
Those Hands reach down to me in my prostrate position and lift my face.
As He raises my face and brings me to my knees.
I can't look. I'm so overwhelmingly humbled.
"Look at Me" He says with that loving, soft, calling voice.
Our eyes meet and there is this sense of peace.
The feeling of His presence.
I just melt into Him.
The love is indescribable.
A total sense of awe.
I am blessed. I am His.
He knows my comings and my goings.
He knows my rising and my fa1ling.
He loves me unconditionally.
I don't want to leave. I don't want to leave this spot.
I'm wrapped in my Saviors love.
He is with me and will NEVER leave or forsake me.
I can get up from this place. This place of total consuming passion and love.
I can face this day because I have sought Him.
I have found Him
He loves me and I am His.
This love is so deep
It's more than I can stand
I melt in Your peace!
