What do you think? Changed things around a little and made it kind of "clean" in appearance so to speak. I really like it a lot. It was so hard to decide and then it just seemed to fit.

Happy Father's Day
Well, its Sunday evening and I know that this is a post that should have been up a long time ago today but it has taken til now to get it on here so bear with me.
FIRST OFF---- Happy Father's Day!!!!!! I have been blessed with an awesome Father!!!!! I was, think I still am, Daddy's little girl, even if I am 40 something. My Daddy has always been a strong Christian, hard working and loving man. Yes, he can discipline but only when it was necessary and I truly believe that "It hurt him more than me". He has stood beside me when I made mistakes, hurt and disappointed him but he never stopped pursuing me and pushing me to be what I could be. For that Daddy, I love you!!!!!!!
Secondly, this is the part that breaks my heart and it just hurts me to know that others are hurting. No names will be mentioned but when they read, they will know who they are.
I have a great friend. We have know each other for over 20+ years. He is an awesome man. We haven't seen each other except in photo's on line here and there since 1986....wow it's been a long time. Anyway, he has a daughter. Not sure when the last time he laid eyes on her but she has chosen to forget the fact that he exist. How does one do that when you know how much they love you and how much they care. I sent him a text this morning to wish him a Happy Father's day and it was bittersweet the response I got. It just broke my heart.
I have another friend that I have known for about .....well, I'm not really sure, she has just kind of always been there. Her situation is a bit different. You see, her father doesn't agree with her family, she and her husband, and he has chosen to behave in a manner that takes she and her family out of his life. To the point of acting as if she doesn't exist. I know that today is a hard day for her. I can't imagine. She still loves him. She still cares about him. He has made a choice and that choice has affected so many in her life. I have been thinking of her all day and I hope she knows it.
I have another friend. He is a dear sweet man. He is a prayer warrior. He is a friend. He is such a man after the Lord's heart. I have seen him weep over lost friends and family. Today his children didn't acknowledge him. For the life of me I don't get it. Do we have any idea what our choices do to those precious loved one's around us?
I could go on and on and on. If you are having a difficult day today, please know that you have been on my heart. I have been praying for you even if I don't know you by name.

It's MONDAY!!!!!
How was your weekend? Mine was great but just so busy. Amazing that you can cram so much into 2 days of not having to work. But I guess that is why we plan to do EVERYTHING possible in those very short 2 days.
We are finally going to get away for a few days and attempt to rest. That will be the challenge is to rest. Will it happen? We will have to wait and see.
Mothering The Mother is going through some changes that are all good and exciting. I'm excited and ready but nervous all at the same time. It an adventure and I have always said that from the beginning. It's His and I am just His hands. I have a lot to share and there never seems to be enough time.
We had a great time at church yesterday. I listened as our choir sang a song by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir called "I never lost my praise". I have to confess I was disobedient. I should have been on my feet with both hands in the air and my face lifted. It was just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then to top it all off we had one of our own preaching. Our Pastor is at the SBC Convention in Florida. Terry did an awesome job as usual. It is just such a blessing for me to watch him grow. I can remember the first time that he preached and yesterday morning was one of those times where you could not help but to see the growth and the fruit! It was incredible. It was a message that I needed so badly to hear. Praise the Lord that Terry listened and obeyed and in turn, blessed my socks off!!!!!
It was a great weekend. What did you do this weekend? Anything exciting? Please do share!!!!!!!

Five Question Friday

1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship? Being completely transparent. You can be at your worst or your best and they still stick with you. Being able to be told that you were wrong and it hurts them more than you and visa-verso.
2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted? The bathing suit from last summer. It was really cute when I bought it but now I think it looks a little frumpy. I don't want to look "frumpy" and I certainly don't want to look old.
3. Have you ever had a prank played on you? I think that would have to be the year I turned 40. My hubby managed to get me to leave early so he could come and "decorate" my office. To say that it was gentle is not even close. There were streamers every where. There was silly string on EVERYTHING!!!!!! I was totally overwhelmed and shocked.
4. What is your favorite theme park? That would for sure be Disney World and all of the other "parks" that are attached. It is just THE BEST!!!! You can't help but be a kid. Just bring the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth? FOR SURE!!!!!!! Just had my "25th-child". It is absolutely amazing and it's NEVER the same twice!!!!!!!! It is a moment and time for the family that is so personal and so intimate and they invited me to be a part of it!!!!! I am humbled!!!!!!
Have an AWESOME Friday!!!!!!!!!!! Jump in on the fun!!!!!!!

Thoughtful Thursday

What a beautiful day outside. It is just fantastic. I would love to be leaving here to go and run before work but this body won't get up and go. That's ok, got in 3 miles last night on the treadmill and then "ran" for 4 minutes with the treadmill turned off. That is a challenge but THANK YOU Jillian for that.
Things are going good at present and getting ready for the beach. It is a break that is soooo very much needed and we are just so excited. The Lord is just blessing us from every direction and for that we are so very thankful. It's amazing!!!!!!
What is He doing in your life? Have you thought about that lately? If things are going great, we have the tendency to just do what we think and not give credit to the One who is allowing it. We only think about what He is doing when things are not going good. We are so busy crying out. So, in light of it being Thoughtful Thursday, what about you. Have you thought about Him and what He is doing in your life?
Please feel free to share!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful day!!!!!!!
