It's About Time.......

Well it has been way to long since I had a few moments to sit down and write with a somewhat of a clear head. This has been a week, and that is putting it lightly. In the midst of the chaos, the unanswered questions, the meetings and that appointments, God is STILL in control and He Never Lost it to begin with even when I felt like I was drowning.

There have been some major events in the Kennedy/McManus household this week. If you are a close friend, church member or family member, you already know what I am talking about. I have chosen to keep the details off of this very public blog because, God knows the details and that is ALL that matters. I just could not help but to write tonight.

A good friend wrote an email to me the other day and made a statement that has stuck in my head and my heart. It's one of those that you know. You have heard it. You have even said it and then someone says it to you in the midst of a conversation or in the midst of a difficult circumstance and you have that Ahh Haa Moment. You know what I am talking about????? Any way she said=== "As much as it stinks, stress isn't beyond God's control. If there's stress in your life and you're in His will, He has a purpose in it." Let's just say that this hit home with me and the events surrounding the last few days. So, these are my thoughts about the circumstances that we are dealing with at the present moment....
There is stress- He is in control
There is anxiety- He is in control
There is a purpose- He has a plan
There is a plan- He has it in His hand
There is a goal- He knows what it is
There is hurt - He is The Healer
There is pain - He is The Comforter
There is loneliness - He is The Friend
There is rest- He IS THE REST!!!!!!!
Now, no matter what situation you are dealing with today, this afternoon or in the morning, if we think on this........ He will see us through. Changing my perspective off of 'I, me, my' is key for me. It needs to be "He, Him, and His". God is big enough to handle any circumstance. We just need to let Him. Is it hard??????????? DUH!!!!!! But what power and peace we experience when we let Him. Does that mean that once you lay it down, everything is a bed of roses and life is wonderful and grand? No, the tears still may come and the waves of anxiety of a topic may creep in but when you think------ "He, Him, His" it is power and peace.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope this has been an encouragement to you and you have time to leave a comment. God is in control.....we can rest assured of that!!!!!!!! Talk to you soon.
Laboring with You,
Doula Mama Pam

This was great. It's so very hard to keep the right perspective when life hurts, but if we can then God really can shine through. Praying for you.
