Not Me Monday

It's Monday before Thanksgiving. Next Monday I am sure there will be a lot of things to share(or confess, depending on how you want to look at it). This past week in our home was a challenge but there were a few moments that were priceless. So let's get started, shall we?
1. I did not go to East Coast Wings and proceed to order 6 wings plus an entree that came with those lovely homemade, thinly sliced, potato chips, that are deep fried plus a huge chicken sandwich and proceed to eat every last chip and wing. (I was MISERABLE the rest of the day)
2 . I did not go to a craft bazaar to work as a vendor and spend more money on the Little Man than what I made selling what I brought.
3. I did not actually sit during the above mentioned bazaar and proceed to make almost every single Christmas present for anyone female in my family.
4. I did not go bowling on Thursday night and get to see a friend that I don't get the opportunity to talk to much because we are both so very busy. (So glad you were there Darla). We both have boys the same age (the older one- Kyle). Her boys are twins. William, Ryan and Kyle have been friends since kindergarten. Anyway, as we discussed the attire of one of the boys, we got the giggles. Ya know when little girls get the giggles, it's sweet and cute and everyone says "Aww, aren't they cute". Well when Darla and I get the giggles, we could not stop. She was laughing hysterically. I was laughing so hard I sounded like I was having an asthma attack.Other's could not help but laugh but I think they were laughing at us. It's very hard to bowl when you are busting a gut in laughter. I think my abs were sore on Friday from laughing so hard.
5. I did not go to the gym with my oldest, Kyle, on Friday and he stated "We are going to do MY workout". I thought "I am dead". We proceeded to do all kinds of arms, biceps, triceps, chest, hamstrings. It was killing me but I was NOT about to tell him that. I told him that I really wanted to do the Jacobs Ladder machine. For whatever reason, watching the Biggest Loser, I am now determined to kick that machine. I got on first. 2 minutes was my goal. I thought I would fall off and have a heart attack on the spot. Next time will be 2 minutes. I'm determined by January to get on for 5.
I can't wait to see what ya'll have been up to. Happy Not Me Monday!!!!!!
Laboring with You,
Doula Mama Pam
