Even though McMama is not doing a "Not Me" or "Not My Child Monday", she said that we should go ahead and do ours. Of course this would be the week for the priceless one from my youngest child. There is only one but that is enough, if you know what I mean......
We are trying to introduce the potty and talk about the potty a lot around the house. Daycare is being fabulous with the whole potty idea. They take him every hour and he stands and if nothing happens, he sits. Well, they have the little potties at school. The ones that NO ONE has at home. So at home, we purchased a "Cars" stepstool for him to use in the bathroom. He uses it when he brushes his teeth, washes his hands or is attempting to get in the bathtub on his own. He also uses it when we are "going to the potty". We do just like school. Start with standing and then we sit. Still nothing yet but he is getting the idea.
Last week, I thought I would escape for just a moment and excuse myself to the bathroom. Closed the door and try to be "alone" for just a few minutes. All of the sudden....BAM!!!!! The door flies open and there I sit. Kaleb gets his little step stool. Walks over in front of my and in the sweetest little voice says..."Here ya go mommy". Puts the step stool down and walks out the door. I was absoulutely speechless. All I could say was "Thank you sweetheart". It was just precious. A little embarrassing but precious!!!!!!!!!
Hope you have a GREAT Monday!!!!!!

Super Supper Saturday/Sunday
Mexican Dump Stew
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 pkg of Taco Seasoning
1 pkg of Ranch Dressing Mix (powdered)
3 boneless chicken breast (not cooked),whole
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernal corn
1 can pinto
1 can chili beans
1 can black beans
(You can use any mix of beans, just needs to be 3 cans and DO NOT DRAIN)
Open all the cans and dump them into the crock-pot. Push the chicken into the mixture. Cover and put on low for 8 hours.
After 8 hours, remove the chicken and shred. Put the chicken back in and stir to mix in.
Serving ideas
**Serve with Nacho chips
**Drain well and wrap in a tortillia
**Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and or guacamole.
**Great to do before leaving for work or even put on before going to bed and then it's ready in the morning for lunch or dinner. Great to take to covered dish events as well.
This has become one of the favorites in our house. Especially when I don't have time to fix anything. You literally dump it in, stir and cover. It is just wonderful. It will be great this fall and winter when the temp finally starts dropping. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Fantastic Friday!!!!!!
Well, it's Friday and it's kind of humid and drizzling rain outside. I had rather be at home in the house cleaning and doing other things but work is where I must be on this fabulous morning. What are your plans for the weekend? Even when we don't want to have a lot to do and just spend some time at home, we always end up with a check list that never gets completed but I guess that is just the way that life is.
The Hubby and I got new cell phones so of course we will need to go to the store and get all the numbers transferred. There is no way I have the patience to sit down and transfer over 130 contacts with some having multiple numbers. NOT A CHANCE when I can go somewhere and let them hook it up to a computer and press a button and everything is done. Are we spoiled or what????
Going to a corporate picnic on Saturday afternoon. Train-rides, face painting, clowns, food......hopefully the weather will be good.
Sunday-my favorite day----WORSHIP!!!!!!!! FELLOWSHIP!!!!!! with my Christian Family and Friends!!!!!!! Meet with my November Mom and Dad. They are just precious.
By the way, the BABY BABY EXPO this past weekend with Triad Mommies (http://www.triadmommies.com/) . It was GREAT!!!!! I met more people and met a lot of Mom's To Be and that was probably my favorite part. It was amazing to see some of the same people and then on the other hand meet a lot of new people and vendors. There were some AWESOME ideas and products. I actually left with over 21 Mom's To Be that were interested in receiving more information about Mother The Mother. I am getting my letter ready to send out on e-mail and we will see what happens. What I would love to see is at least 1/2 of them to call me!!!! WOULD THAT BE AWESOME!!!!! Maybe you know someone that is in need of a Doula. Please have them give me a call. I would love to talk with them. I can give them plenty of references as well. Enough about work stuff.....let's move on.
I had a conversation of sorts with a teen. She is really struggling and saying a lot of things that I don't think she realizes what she is saying. Being very casual with situations and discussions and boys. I was driving and there was a song that they play quite a bit on K-Love (http://www.klove.com/) and it talks about "falling in love with beautiful you". Forgive me because I can't remember his name. The song talks about how we need to realize that God made us the way we are and we are His. We are not THIS WORLD!!!! We can not depend on this world, our friends, other people to make us feel important, special, beautiful, lovely.....If we look at ourselves through the tender mercies and the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father, we can see who are in His eyes and THAT IS WHAT MATTERS. Not what the friends say, not what the world says but what He says about us. I've posted the lyrics at the bottom of the post. I pray that this teen would realize that she could, if she chooses to, turn it around, and realize that God has a plan for her. Pray for those precious young women that you know that may have started middle school, high school and even college. They are facing so much pressure to look, dress and behave in certain ways to be accepted. The only One that they need to please is their Heavenly Father!!!!!! Storm the gates of Heaven for these precious women!!!!!
Jonny Diaz - More Beautiful You From the album More Beautiful You
Little girl fourteen flipping through a magazine Says she wants to look that way. But her hair isn't straight her body isn't fake And she's always felt overweight. Well little girl fourteen I wish that you could see That beauty is within your heart. And you were made with such care your skin your body your hair. Are perfect just the way you are. There could never be a more beautiful you. Don't buy the lies disguises and hoops they make you jump through. You were made to fill a purpose that only you could do. So there could never be a more beautiful you. Little girl twenty-one the things that you've already done. Anything to get ahead And you say you've got a man but he's got another plan. Only wants what you will do instead. Well little girl twenty-one you never thought that this would come You starve yourself to play the part. But I can promise you there's a man whose love is true And he'll treat you like the jewel that you are. Chorus So turn around you're not too far To back away be who you are To change your path go another way It's not too late you can be saved. If you feel depressed with past regrets. The shameful nights hope to forgets Can disappear they can all be washed away. By the one who's strong can right your wrongs. Can rid your fears dry all your tears. And change the way you look at this big world .He will take your dark distorted view. And with his light he will show you truth And again you'll see through the eyes of a little girl.
Have A FANTASTIC FRIDAY!!!!!

Thoughtful Thursday
Well, it's Thoughtful Thursday. I am so sorry I didn't make it back in time to finish the post from yesterday. Maybe I wasn't suppose to finish it. Today I just wanted to share something that is on my mind. I heard it yesterday coming home from work.
I was listening to K-Love (www.klove.com) and they had the missions organization on there from Rivers of The World (http://www.row.org/) . I believe it is the director or the president of the organization that makes the little blips that you hear on the radio. It's one of those things when you listen to it, they just make you stop and think. Well, this was one of those that made me think and think again and again.
Ben Mathis is the gentleman that always talks. He has one of those voices that just really catches your attention. Anyway, I know this is not word for word, but he stated that he had received one of the most difficult phone calls that you can receive. A very close friends wife had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and they were at the hospital. He told his friend.."I am on my way." This should be our response. We can just go and be. We don't have to say anything. Just be. Or, we can talk, we can cry, we can pray, we can laugh, we just need to be there with them. We often hear people say, "I can't do that", "I don't know what to say", "That is not my calling", "I'm uncomfortable in that kind of situation". None of these excuses are worthy of not responding. There are times where we are to be completely out of our comfort zone and do what the Lord has commanded us to do. We need to be active. We need to be sitting at the hospital while someone is in surgery, while someone is getting chemo or radiation, or with that friend at home. I often hear people say "I don't know what to say". We need to remember that sometimes we don't have to say anything. Absolutely NOTHING. For some of us that is very difficult. For some, the only thing we can do at times is sit and cry with them. That would be me. I cry at the drop of a hat. If I even think I saw a tear in your eye, my flood gates are wide open.
I was challenged yesterday. As I listened to his brief 30-60 second blip on the radio, I realized that I need to be more active. I get the e-mails, I get the phone calls and often, I don't "do". I was so convicted. I can do what He has asked of me. I am His and in order to show His Son to the world, it's time for me to be more like Him.
I hope that this is something for you to ponder today. If you have something that you need prayer for, leave it in the comment section. It will be covered in prayer!!!!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing Thoughtful Thursday with me.

Not Me Monday's
Well, it is Monday again and of course McMama's website said we could do Not Me Monday or Not My Child Monday.
This is really hard because once again, I could do both.
So here we go.....
I DID NOT go to the bowling alley and for the 3rd week in a row eat a grilled cheese and nachos with cheese and jalapenos. That is SOOOO not part of the fitness challenge I am in the middle of.
I DID NOT go to the bowling alley and use rental shoes.....have you ever considered who may have worn them before you and heaven's, even thought about, what if they forgot to spray them with Lysol......
I DID NOT text my oldest son to tell him how great I was at bowling and then realize that I was reading the wrong column on the score board. I had to re-text him and tell him, I DON"T KNOW WHAT I AM DOING!!!!!!!
I DID NOT proceed to go out to dinner afterwards and eat a huge chicken-steak with french fries and eat every last one on my plate at 9pm......not on my challenge. (This was not the same night as the grilled cheese....)
I DID NOT just die laughing when my husband gave into the little one's request to pull out the sofa sleeper in the front room and watch him lie down on it in just the place where there is no support and he was almost EATEN by the couch!!!!! I laughed hard enough that I was sore the next morning.
I hope you all have a great MONDAY!!!!!! Oh by the way, feel free to grab a BUTTON on the right sidebar and add it to your page. Leave me a comment and let me know.

Super Supper Saturday/Sunday
How was the Triple Delight last week? Did you try it? What did you think?????
Ok, since we did the Dessert last week I guess we better do something a little more healthy this week. How about a salad? This is one of my favorites. I have posted it before but I think it is worth repeating just incase you missed it. It is so easy. You can basically throw it all together and literally put it on the table or take it to a dinner somewhere. LOVE THAT!!!!!
Give it a try and let me know what you think......
Marsha's Salad
1 bag of baby spinach leaves
1 containter of feta cheese or you can use bleu cheese crumbles
1 small can of mandarin oranges, drained well
1 bag of candied walnuts or you can use pecans if you have those
1 cup of dried cranberries or cran-raisins
1 bottle of Raspberry Vinegarette Salad Dressing (Ken's Steakhouse is my favorite)
1-2 cups of a plain crouton
Mix salad together WITHOUT the dressing. Allow people to add as much as they like. It is an awesome salad. Great to take places or eat at home.
TIPS
***Add grilled chicken, steak or pork and have a complete meal.
***Use romaine lettuce if there is no spinach available
*** Use apples and blue cheese together in place of the oranges and fetta to change things up a bit.
Hope you enjoy......This one is GOOD for you.

Fantastic (it's) Friday!!!!!!
This has been a trying week. I'm not exactly sure what has made it so "trying". I know there is a lot going on. Anything from having a major event that I am taking part in on Sunday afternoon to the complete other end of the spectrum when you find out that your oldest son's girlfriends cousin committed suicide.
We found on Monday about the suicide. I was absolutely speechless. This was a young man who had graduated not that long ago from high school. He was 18 years old. He had his whole life ahead of him. He left behind a hurting and questioning family that will never be the same because of this loss. My heart just breaks for them. I immediately sent out an e-mail and text to all of my prayer warriors. This is a close family. From what I have seen of Amber's family, they all live so close together and quite a few live all on the same street. I have been praying and praying for them...yet, when I sit in the quiet of the moment when the Lord brings them to my mind, my eyes just well up with tears and my heart just breaks all over again and I can't even find the words to utter. I just have to depend on the Holy Spirit to know what and how I need to intercede for this precious family. Amber and Kyle have been together for over 2 years and they are so precious. Kyle has been with the family so much and knew this young man as well. Please continue to pray for them that the Lord would just wrap His arms around them and hold them while they are hurting so deeply for this loss.
We also had some issues with our daughter. Lot's of details that I chose not to share here. If you are a personal friend of the family then you already know. It was hard but there are consequences for our actions and sometimes, that is a tough lesson to learn.
On a completely different note...... I WENT BOWLING WITH A CHURCH LEAGUE!!!! You have to understand. My husband is like THE BEST!!! I'm talking 300 games, the whole thing. He has 3 bowling balls, rings, 2 pairs of bowling shoes. Well, you get the picture. I had always said....NOT ME!!!!! He is so competitive but I agreed to do it as long as this was just FUN!!! No competition. Let me tell you, I HAD A BLAST!!!!!! I had to use rented shoes....YUCK!!! Then I had to use the bowling balls there.....still trying to figure out what weight to use. It really was a lot of fun. It's been 20 years since I threw a ball but I will be back next Thursday to try again. No, we will NOT discuss scores. When I get better, we will talk scores. Check in on NOT ME Monday and I am sure this adventure last night will make it's way to Monday.....hahahaha
2 more things. Please pray for me on Sunday. It's the big EXPO. 2,000 people are expected!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! My name and Mothering The Mother will for sure be out. No doubt about that!!!! How cool!!!!! I'm a nervous wreck. I will be selling my earrings that I have made. I'm super excited about that as well. I will be taking orders for the Baby and Mom bracelets that I make. They are so sweet. I will of course take pictures and have them posted either Sunday evening or in the week next week. Keep in mind, the money from the earrings and bracelets will help me on a mission trip to Ukraine, I'm praying is in 2010.
Last but not least. I have chosen to add on to the blog. YEAH!!! Super Supper Saturday/Sunday. Please check in on Saturday if you are looking for something special to prepare for your family, your party or to take to an event. If you have some that you would like to share, please do so. I would love to hear from you.
That is it for now. Have a FANTASTIC FRIDAY!!!!!!

Easiest Chicken Casserole EVER!!!!!!!

1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup

DOUBLE POST!!! Not Me and Not My Child!!!!
This is going to be good. I have one on me and then one on my child to.
First.......
I DID NOT get ready to prepare dinner on Saturday morning and decide that I would do a "southern breakfast".
I DID NOT get out the pot to make the grits (we are in NC don't forget).
I DID NOT put the butter in the pot, along with the salt and pepper and even cut up the cheese to.
I DID NOT look in the pantry to get out the grits and NOT find them.
I DID NOT look in the refrigerator.
I DID NOT look in the freezer.
I DID NOT look in EVERY SINGLE CABINET in the kitchen.
I DID NOT have my hubby come and look behind me. I had just opened a package the other week and put them in a storage container. I knew I was NOT losing my mind.
I DID NOT on Saturday afternoon while cleaning up the kitchen, discover the above mentioned grits.
I DID NOT put them in the storage container next to the cream and sugar containers that sit next to the coffee pot.
I DID NOT get to make grits this weekend.
My child DID NOT go in the bathroom with my husband while he was working on the floor in the bathroom.
My Child DID NOT find a pair of plyers laying on the floor in the bathroom.
My Child DID NOT pick them up and decide to play them.
My Child DID NOT figure out a way to pinch his belly hard enough, just on the skin that left him crying.
My Child DID NOT walk around and sit in Mommy and Daddy's lap with his shirt raised as high as it would go and talk about his Diego bandaid with a sea turtle on it.
Nope....NOT MY CHILD!!!!!!!!
****BATHROOM UPDATE........It is almost done. The new floor is down and the toliet is almost finished. Just some finishing touches with molding and some other minor things......the FLOOR IS AWESOME!!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH TO MY AWESOME AND WONDERFUL AND LOVING HUSBAND!!!!!!! ISN'T IT BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
Have an awesome Monday!!!!!

Super Supper Saturday/Sunday
So, I will prepare something for you to try, tweek, totally love, not-so-much like or not-on-your-life. Keeping something new and exciting on the table has always been a challenge for me. I am the worlds worst at trying to bring in new things because I get stuck in a rut. I am sure it drives my family crazy but that is what happens. Does it ever happen to you? I'll try to include fun things like appetizers, main dish, snacks, and of course we can never forget the desserts.
Well, what are we waiting for??? Here we go.........
Let's start with dessert first!!!! Of course, where else do we start...LOL
Triple Triffle Delight
1 prepared angel food cake (if you are feeling sinful, use pound cake)
1 large box of vanilla pudding
Milk to prepare pudding with minus (-) 1/2 cup
2 containers of Cool Whip (Light if you like or regular)
1 small container of blueberries, blackberries or raspberries
1 small container of strawberries
2 bananas-sliced
In a large glass bowl crumble up 1/3 of the cake. Use a tall glass bowl because you want to see the layers. Layer over the cake 1/3 of the berries, 1/3 of the strawberries and 1/3 of the bananas. In a seperate bowl, prepare the pudding according to directions minus (-) 1/2 cup of milk. It will be thick and that is what you want. Whisk in 1 full container of Cool Whip. This is the "mousse". Layer over the top of the berries 1/3 of the mousse mixture. Now repeat with cake, berries, strawberries, bananas and more mousse. Once you are done with all the layering, cover with the entire container of Cool Whip. If you have to press it down a little, that is not a problem. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator.
Tips----
**Fozen fruit works great and so does canned. If you use the canned, drain them well.
**Use pound cake or angel food cake. Either works great
**Always put fruit on top of the cake and then the mousse. The juices from the fruit get in the cake.
**Make this in the morning and allow to chill until lunch or dinner. If you are making ahead, you may want a TINY bit of lemon on your bananas so they don't turn dark.
Believe it or not, there is a CHOCOLATE VERSION!!!!!! You will have to check back for that one!!!!!
Hope you enjoy this one!!!!!!! Let me know what you think.......

Thoughtful Thursdays
To update you on last weeks post a little. Bo and I are so excited that we are going to be teaching 4 year olds in Sunday School this year. To a lot of people that is probably not a big deal but it is for us. This will be the first "ministry" that we have done as a couple. I can not tell you how thrilled I am about it. I have taught 4 year old in pre-school at our church. That was probably one of my most favorite jobs in the world. Watching young 4's become Pre-K and some going on to Kindergarten. What a blessing. I told one of my co-workers that we were teaching. She was not at all surprised. I can sit and just think about it and have the lesson plans done in my head and the crafts and what we can make to eat and all of those fun and creative things just get going. LOVE IT!!!!!!
I got to meet with my September Mom last Saturday. It was such a treat. We talked about what they had been learning in class and what she was wanting and how she wants things to go for the big "Birth-Day". It is so exciting to see how much she has changed. She is not the young pre-teen and teen that I used to know. She is a wife and soon to be Mom. What a blessing to be a part of something so thrilling. Going Sunday afternoon to meet with my October Mom. She and her husband are just PRECIOUS!!!!! The neat part is, they don't know what they are having. I think that is so cool!!!! Not only is it an exciting day but that will be the moment they find out if they have a son or a daughter. I am sure that Dad will be the Announcer that day!!!!
The Childbirth Educator process is long but I am learning so much more than I ever thought was possible. What to do with it when I am done....TEACH of course. Where, how, when, and all of the logistics are still to be seen. I just know that just like with the Doula Duties, this is His design and not mine. Therefore we will watch and see and of course, He has is all figured out. Aren't you glad that He does that for us? I would so totally mess up everything if He was not in control. It would be total CHAOS!!!!!
My youngest is sick today with a stomach bug (we will leave it there). He is chillin' at home with Daddy and just sleeping and resting and of course watching "Cars". He called (Daddy dialed) me to let me know he "watch Cars". He told me some other things I didn't quit understand until he said "I wuv you Mommy". That was crystal clear and I just wanted to pack my bags and go home and sit and hold him and make him feel better. I know he and Daddy are just fine. Not sure about work on Friday. That will depend on how the Little Man is doing.
I do have a prayer request before we close today.
August 23rd, I am taking part in a "show" of sorts. It's called "Baby Baby" and there will be a lot of people there. There are estimating somewhere around 1-2,000 people. (This is gonna be big). Anyway, I am the only "Doula Service" that will be there. Is that like totally cool or what???? On one end of my table I will be selling baby bracelets and earrings that I have made. I am thrilled to be able to get my name out for the Doula Services but at the same time THRILLED that I will get to sell the earrings. THEY are NOT EXPENSIVE!!!! Here is the thing. I have friends in the Ukraine. They are missionaries there. She is M.O.M(My Other Mother). I know without a shadow of a doubt that ANY AND ALL MONEY made on that end of my table will be going to help me with a trip to the Ukraine next year. The Lord made it VERY clear that it would be next year. I don't know when, just that I am to go. The cost is reasonable but I have got to sell these earrings and bracelets and even take orders for the baby bracelets. They are very sweet. I love making them. I will try to take some pictures this weekend and post them. PLEASE just pray that they will sell and my calendar will be full with Doula Duties!!!!!!! SENT BY HIM!!!!!!!! I'll post more on the even when I can put links on here for it.
Thanks for stopping by today!!!!!! It' s been a pleasure to share.

Not Me Monday!!!
This one could be VERY long but I won't bore you with a lot of details.....HAHAHAHA
Here we go.
I DID NOT allow my little one to have a black fine point pen and a journal.
< href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj31HZms-F8PPw7LPuGu6BbuPvjdk2CvYo8UvFKRZ0uhADuTRBd8hO-XwXup7YBHBP0QokIu_Tiv4CewrrRnNrsgEy_s09XdRJNlxi-fJ23Ma6rRKMhlc0jMaZa7a4aZP4Uxw4a9iyJAM8/s1600-h/100_0448.JPG">
I DID NOT let him continue to do so while I ran and got the camera so I could have pictures for today.
Oh, and remember last weeks post about our toilet. Yes, the bathroom is STILL CLOSED but we have purchased new flooring.
I DID NOT once again run to get the camera to take the next 2 pictures. They were truly MUST HAVE's for Not Me Monday.
I will keep you posted on the progress of the bathroom. The new floor is going to be AWESOME!!!!!!

Thoughtful Thursday!!!!!
Wow, what a week it has been. I am just blown away and once again, the Lord never ceases to amaze me. I'm overwhelmed at times and just have to stand and be speechless because there are no words to express what I am thinking and feeling.
This week really kind of started last Saturday. I went to a luncheon of some friends that are getting married. The really cool thing is that I know both of them seperately and now they are getting married. They have both been through so much over the past years and to see them together on Saturday just blessed me beyond!!! They remind me of a couple that is about 20 and are giddy, excited, hand-holding, smiling ALL the time and counting down days, hours, minutes and wouldn't be surprised if seconds are in there to. A true marriage made by the Creator!!!!!
Then we go to church on Sunday. We are so heavely blessed with children in our church. Anyone from the age of birth all the way through the Seniors in high school. There is a board that was posted with all of the vacancies in the Sunday School times. I have stopped and pondered the board every Sunday since they put it up. I finally wrote my name on the sheet that stated you would be interested or would want to work. I said nothing to no one. Not even my husband. Just really struggling with leaving my Sunday School class full of precious women that I love dearly. The phone rings Sunday evening and it's a friend from church and he talks to Bo and asks him if we would be interested in teaching the upcoming year. I could do nothing but be completely blown away. We are still praying over it and will hopefully nail that down soon.
Doula Duties. Well, they have been kind of quiet. I have had 2 deliveries and will be making the home visits not this Saturday but probably the next. I will get their permission and see if I can post some pictures. They were precious. I still have the one for September and the Lord has just really opened the flood gates. I now have one for September, October, November and December, January, February, and March. Then I got a call from someone yesterday who saw my flyer......WOW is the only thing I can say. It is just such a humbling experience to be asked to come in and share such a time with a couple. I just have to stand in awe!!!!
Last Sunday, we heard a sermon that really hit me. To know God. I don't mean just to be able to quote scripture and verse and have just head knowledge. I mean KNOW HIM personally and intimately. Do I recognize when I see Him at work? Do I hear Him when He speaks to me? Am I walking with Him or am I in front or behind Him? When I started this Doula business, it was truly from Him. He has designed it and He knows what I need and when. I have watched Him work in ways that I can't put into words and it just awesome. "Doula" comes from a Greek word meaning "servant". That is what I am to these women and these families. I also am a servant of HIS!!! That is first and foremost. Who or what are you a servant of today? Your job? Your family? Your children's activities? Your hobby? I could go on and on but I have to close for now.
I pray that you KNOW HIM!!!!! If not, please leave a comment, send me an e-mail and let me show you how!!!!! Have an awesome day!!!!! See you tomorrow for FLASHBACK FRIDAY!!!!!!

This is a little difficult to share today because it is really hard to narrow it down. Kaleb talks ALL the time.
Kaleb loves his cars but we seem to be moving to blocks at present. We have spent the last 2 nights for at least 30-45 minutes playing with the big chunky lego's.
This is typically how the conversation goes while we are playing blocks.
Kaleb: Play blocks mommie?
Me: Yes, let's go play with blocks.
Kaleb: Sit down NOW!!!!!!
Me: Kaleb, we ask "Please sit down"
Kaleb: Peas sit down NOW!!!!!
Me: Ok, close enough
Kaleb: Build a tower
Me: Ok----we build a tower and actually the tower was taller that him. He talks up a storm the entire time he is building. Talking about colors and different size blocks and it is just non-stop.
FINALLY- The tower is as tall as it can be and
Me: Maybe we should call Daddy to come and see your tower
Kaleb: Da-e (yes, he says it with an "e" not a "dy")
Kaleb: Da-e, come he-are (here is a 2 sylabil word)
Kaleb Da-e
Finally in frustration because Da-e is not getting there fast enough he changes to
Kaleb- BO!!!!
Kaleb- BO!!!!
Cracks us up. If you will not come when I call you Da-e, I'll call you by your name!!!!!
Me: No, call Daddy, not Bo
Kaleb: BO!!!!!
Daddy appears and has the camera to take the pictures of the tower before CRASH!!!!! it falls to the ground!!!!!
He is to funny and sooooooo sweet!!!!!!!! We have pictures, I will try and get them added. I didn't get a chance to get them on here. Be sure to check back.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Thoughtful Thursday is tomorrow,,,,,,,,,,,check in again!!!!!!!

Not My Child Monday!!
My youngest child DID NOT place a rather large Matchbox Truck in the toilet and yell "Oh No".
My youngest child DID NOT proceed to flush the toilet once while Mommy was on her way to the bathroom to see what the "Oh No" was about.
My youngest DID NOT flush the toilet again while Mommy went to get something to get said truck out of the toilet.
My youngest DID NOT proceed to ask 1000 times "where did truck go?" when he could no longer see it.
My response to him DID NOT sound like one of his favorite movies named Nemo
"Honey, the truck went out to the ocean"
To say the least, the bathroom is presently "CLOSED" until the toilet has been removed from the floor and hopefully the truck will be found.
The first thing my husband said was "Well, what is that blog about "Not My Child Monday"? I think you have your blog post" No doubt about that. The above mentioned bathroom's toilet is still closed at present.....working on trying to remove the truck without having to remove the toilet.
Toilet did have to be removed. We have now decided to go ahead and replace the flooring before we put it back. Truck was found. Kaleb was most happy!!!!!
