Triple Threat Not _____ Monday

NOT MY HUSBAND!!!!!
My hubby DID NOT attempt to make microwave popcorn last week to give our 3 year old a snack before I got home.
He DID NOT put a normal package of popcorn and read the first line of the directions on the box that said ----4 MINUTES (or maybe as little as 2 1/2 minutes in some microwaves). He missed the fine print.
He DID NOT call me prior to getting home and ask me how long to cook the popcorn after he had already attempted to cook the first pack.
I DID NOT get out of the car in the parking lot and the only thing that I could smell was BURNT popcorn.
The house smelled. The parking lot smelled. Our clothes smelled and even now, when something is in the microwave cooking, there is the gentle odor of burnt popcorn.
I LOVE YOU HONEY!!!!!

Not My Child
Kaleb DID NOT run away while attempting to put on a fresh pull-up and proceed to walk around without one on for a few minutes.
Kaleb DID NOT stand still and watch Max and Ruby and proceed to "relieve" himself in the front room.
Kaleb DID NOT come and get me and say "Made a mess Mommy"
Kaleb DID NOT take me by the hand and say with a very straight face "Watch Mommy, I jump over the mess" There was nothing to say......

Not Me Monday
I DID NOT stay in my pajama's until after 12 noon on Friday because I stayed home with Kaleb due to snow and ice.
I DID NOT go to Bojangles yesterday and proceed to eat an ENTIRE Supreme's combo and didn't feel guilty about it.
I DID NOT push the trunk release on my car while it was sleeting/snowing/raining on Friday and leave my trunk up for over 5 hours.
I DID NOT shed a few tears over the fact that I lost ALL of my Mothering The Mother flyer's, magnets, card stock, and other misc. magazines and just "stuff". I still have not figured out when that happened. It was all VERY sad.

How about you? How was your week last week????
Laboring With You,
Doula Mama Pam

I am in the process of potty training my 2 year old (almost 3 year old) boy and I laughed at your "not my child" lines from him.
Found you from McKmama.
P.S.-love the song His Eye is on the Sparrow.

Burnt popcorn is the worst! It can take days for that smell to finally be gone!

The joys of potty training. It's something new and different every single day with a toddler.
